    Farmers, agricultural retailers, crop advisers, conservation professionals, Extension personnel, and others involved in Ohio agriculture are invited to attend the 2026 Ohio 4R Technology Review Field Day on Tuesday, June 23, at Nutrien Ag Solutions, 18186 Five Points Pike, Mt. Sterling, Ohio 43143. The event begins with registration at 8:30 a.m. and concludes at 2:15 p.m.

    The 2026 Small Grains Field Day registration is now open. The event will take place June 17, starting at 9 a.m. at the Western Agricultural Research Station in South Charleston, Ohio. The program will include in depth discussions on wheat research, as well as input management and profitability. A farmer panel will close out the day, offering attendees the opportunity to ask questions following the presentations. Activities will run from 9 a.m. to noon, and lunch is included with registration. The field day is free and open to all registered participants.

    The Ohio State Small Farm Team will host its annual New and Small Farm Conference on March 14, 2026, at the Shisler Conference Center in Wooster, Ohio. The event aims to help new and small-scale farmers across the state develop profitable, sustainable farms through education, networking, and access to university and industry resources.   “The Small Farm Conference is an incredible opportunity for Ohio’s new and small farm community to connect, learn, and grow together,” said Sabrina Schirtzinger, Small Farm Team member.

    Join us on February 23rd for the 6th annual virtual Corn College & Soybean School presented by the Ohio State University Extension Agronomic Crops Team. The program will run from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM and feature OSU Extension field and state specialists with updates and topics relevant for the 2026 growing season. Certified Crop Adviser CEUs will be available upon viewing the live presentations.

    The 4th annual Ohio State Organic Grains Conference will be January 7-8, 2026 at Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Sandusky, Ohio. This event is managed by Ohio State University Extension and the OFFER program. Attendance for 2025 exceeded 240, and included farmers, suppliers, researchers, and educators from Ohio, Indiana, New York, Illinois, Michigan, and beyond.
