    The Southwest Ohio Corn Growers Association, in collaboration with Ohio State University Extension – Fayette County, invites farmers, agronomists, and community members to the 2025 Agronomy Field Day on Tuesday, August 12, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Fayette County Airport, located at 2770 Old SR 38 NW, Washington Court House, Ohio.

  4. Certified Livestock Manager Webinar Series

    The OSU Extension Water Quality Team is working with the Ohio Department of Agriculture for our 4th annual bi-monthly, year-round CLM webinar series. These webinars will cover topics relevant to Certified Livestock Managers, as well as Certified Crop Advisers. Each webinar will be recorded and posted to the OSU Agronomy Team’s YouTube Channel for later viewing.Following the presentation, each webinar will provide an avenue for audience members to ask questions of our unique panel of speakers for that day’s event.

  5. NE Ohio Hay Field Day

    Join OSU Extension and Norden MFG on August 2, 2025, for the NE Ohio Hay Day. Held at Norden MFG, 4210 Kinsman Rd NW, North Bloomfield Ohio 44450. The program will start at 10:00 AM and will conclude at 1:00 PM. This program is free thanks to generous support from Norden MFG, the Trumbull County Holstein Club, and the Hertzer Family Trust.

  7. Grain Handling Systems Open House

    You are invited to the Molly Caren Ag Center Grain Facility for an open house to learn more about grain handling systems and safety. Technology and design will be on display July 24, 2025, from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM. OSU Extension and industry representatives will be on hand to discuss Millwright design and efficiencies, grain automation, harvest equipment, grain scale and software, and safety.

  8. GROW Farmer Forum on Weed Electrocution in the Field

    GROW will be hosting a Farmer Forum on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at 11 a.m. ET. The forum’s farmer panel and moderator will explore how electrical weed control units fit into a weed management program.  Listen in and bring your questions as farmers from Maryland and Ohio discuss their in-the-field experience with the Weed Zapper! CCA CEU credits will be available.   10. Western Agronomy Field Day

    We will be having our annual Agronomy Day this year at the Western Ag. Research Station in South Charleston, Ohio, July 16, 2025.  We will start at 9 a.m. with introductions and then load up the tour wagons to go out to the fields.   Registration will start at 8:30 am with coffee and doughnuts.
