Waste To Worth Conference April 19th to the 22nd (Lucas)
Primary tabs
The 2022 National Waste To Worth Conference is being hosted by The Ohio State University the week of April 19th through the 22nd. The conference will feature manure management professionals and water quality researchers from throughout the U.S. sharing their research and outreach work. It’s a great opportunity to learn and network.
The location is the Maumee Bay Lodge & Conference Center on the southern shore of Lake Erie. The early bird registration fee of $375 is good through February 18th. Registration after that date will be $425. Room registration is separate from the registration fee.
Anyone who makes or influences environmental management decisions on livestock and poultry farms is encouraged to attend. These include: extension agents and specialists, NRCS and SWCD staff, consultants and technical experts, progressive farmers and producers, regulatory and policy advisors, technology providers, and scientists. Tuesday of the event will consist of bus tours to various locations in northwest Ohio featuring manure utilization and water quality research.
Virtual attendance will be an option. We encourage in-person attendance but want to address concerns about in-person activity and travel restrictions with this virtual option. The registration fee will be the same as for in-person attendance. Please register now and we will contact you the last week in March to confirm whether you will attend in-person or virtually.
Registration, a full agenda, and room reservation can be made at this site: https://lpelc.org/waste-to-worth/waste-to-worth-2022/
The Waste to Worth Conference is coordinated by the Livestock and Poultry Environmental Learning Community (LPELC).
