West Ohio Agronomy Day

Program includes a range of topics on current agronomic topics plus credit offered for both pesticide and fertilizer recertification. Credits offered: Private Pesticide Applicator Recertification Training:  CORE and Categories 1, 2, and 6; Commercial Pesticide Applicator Recertification Credits in CORE, 2-A, and 2-C; Fertilizer Applicator Recertification Training (1 hour for those already holding a Fertilizer Applicator’s Certification) and Certified Crop Advisor CEUs.

•Weed Control – What we learned in 2019
•Using precision ag to improve nutrient and pesticide applications
•How can you make manure work for you in your farming operation?
•How the extremes of 2019 affect nutrient management plans for 2020
•Flies and darkling beetles – How do we deal with them?
•Grain storage management and fumigation must dos
•How do I get my soybean yields through the glass ceiling
Presenters for the day are from Ohio State University, Purdue University, Soil and Water Conservation Districts, Fumigation Service and Supply, the Anderson’s, and Rogers Grain.
