The majority of Western bean cutworm (WBC) trap counts were below scouting threshold for the week-ending August 8. The statewide average resulted in 4.2 moths per trap. Counties above scouting threshold were isolated to northeast Ohio and include Ashtabula, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Paulding and Trumbull.
