2024 eFields Report Available Now

cover of eFields

Now that the 2024 growing season is behind us, it is time to use the lessons from last season to make decisions to improve our operations in 2025. The drought conditions in 2024 may have impacted yields in much of Ohio, but the results provide valuable insights into production strategies in challenging conditions. The economic outlook for 2025 may also have you considering how to remain profitable in the new year. The newest version of the eFields report is packed with valuable data that can help inform your big decisions this season. The 2024 eFields Research Report highlights 260 on-farm, field scale trials conducted in 42 Ohio counties. Research topics include nutrient management including nitrogen and sulfur, disease management in both corn and soybeans, biologicals, drone applications, and cover crop management. The 2024 report also highlights trials conducted on certified organic crops.

The 2024 report is now available in both print and an e-version. To receive a printed copy, contact your local OSU Extension office or email digitalag@osu.edu. The e-version can be viewed and downloaded at go.osu.edu/eFields with the online version readable on smartphone or tablet devices. You can also explore the data from past seasons at kx.osu.edu/efields.

We would like to sincerely thank all of our 2024 collaborating farms and industry partners. The eFields team enjoys working with each of you and we are looking forward to continuing to learn together in 2025.
