We are just two weeks away from the next installment of OSU Extension’s bimonthly webinar series for Certified Livestock Managers (CLMs)! This month’s webinar will focus on the importance of recordkeeping when it comes to manure applications, and what role those records play in the event of a discharge event or spill. We will also share some preliminary research results from The Ohio State University regarding phosphorus movement from manure.
Speakers for this webinar will include Ryan McMichael, Agriculture and Natural Resources Educator for Mercer County, OSU Extension, Christine Pence, DLEP Inspector, Ohio Department of Agriculture, and Dr. Manbir Rakkar, Extension State Specialist and Professor of Soil Fertility, The Ohio State University.
This webinar series serves as a regular opportunity for CLMs to earn 1.5 credit hours for continuing education. 1.5 credit hours for Certified Crop Advisers (CCAs) are offered as well. Previous webinar recordings can be viewed at the OSU Agronomy YouTube channel, linked here. Recordings do not offer CCA or CLM continuing education credits.
Join us live on Monday, August 4th, 2025, from 10-11:30AM for this event. To register for this webinar or the entire series, visit go.osu.edu/CLM. For more information, email waterqualityassociates@osu.edu.
