Northwest Ohio Agriculture Expo March 6 & 7

Ohio State University Extension Henry County and partners are excited to announce the inaugural Northwest Ohio Agriculture Expo. This event will take place in the new event center located at the Henry County Fairgrounds, 821 South Perry Street, Napoleon, Ohio, on March 6th & 7th 2026.

The two-day event will feature equipment dealer displays, agribusinesses booths, and many other agricultural education exhibits. Three stages at the expo will feature speakers from The Ohio State University, Ohio Corn & Wheat, Soil & Water Conservation Districts, Buckeye Meats, Gerald Grain Center, & The Cocky Blossom flower shop. Ross Ellet from 13 ABC will also be presenting a weather outlook on the upcoming growing season and many other weather topics.

As a part of these sessions several certification credits can be obtained by attending the expo. There will be Private & Commercial pesticide applicator recertification credits, Certified Crop Advisor credits, and beef quality assurance credits. Contact the Henry County Ohio State University Extension Office for more details on obtaining credits and the Ag Expo.

In addition to the speaker stages, there will be multiple interactive education exhibits with activities for 4-H, FFA and other youth activities.  There will be a Pesticide Application Center where you can learn about how farmers safely and accurately apply crop protection products. The Henry Agriculture Research & Technology Center “HARTC” will have an exhibit showing the different research projects going on in Henry County and surrounding areas.

Also at the Ag Expo, there will be a Toy Tractor collector show, youth pedal pull hosted by the Tinara Young Farmers, and local food trucks serving outstanding treats and meals for the attendees. This event offers something for everyone, regardless of whether you are a farmer or a consumer of any agricultural products.

 

The Ag Expo will begin on Friday, March 6th, with a soft start time of 10:00am and officially kick off at 12:00pm. The event will conclude on Friday at 8:00pm. Saturday, March 7th, the day will begin at 9:00am and will conclude at 5:00pm. For more information, go to the link below or contact the Henry County Extension Office.
