    The Fulton County OSU Extension Office will be holding a Northwest Ohio Precision Planter Field Day on Tuesday, August 14th from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm at the Fulton County Fairgrounds, 8514 St Rt 108 in Wauseon.

  2. Soil Health Demonstration

    Have you registered to attend this year’s Manure Science Review?  July 16 is the last day to register at the reduced rate of $25.  Livestock producers, manure applicators and others will want to make sure they visit http://go.osu.edu/msr2018 to register for the upcoming field day being held near Forest in Hardin County on July 25.  Registration is $30 per person if completed after July 16.  Breakfast (coffee and donuts) and lunch is included with the registration fee.

  3. Registration is currently underway for the 2018 4R Technology Review Field Day, hosted by the Ohio AgriBusiness Association, and featuring presentations by various OSU and USDA-ARS staff. This event will take place Tuesday, July 17, on one of the Blanchard River Demonstration Farms. Registration is free and includes a complimentary lunch. Sign-in begins at 8:30 AM, the event at 9:00 and will conclude around 4:00 PM.

  4. The OSU/OARDC Western Agricultural Research Station will host two field days in July. The OSU Weed Science Field Day on July 11th, and the Western Agronomy Field Day on July 18th.

    Western Ohio Precision Ag Field Day is planned for July 16, 2018 beginning at 8 a.m. at 9060 Versailles, Southeastern Road, Versailles.

    This event will feature field demonstrations on nutrient placement, management, and utilizing field data to make decisions. Credits will be available for fertilizer applicator re-certification, certified crop consultants, and certified livestock managers.

  6. Field Day

    The public is invited to attend at no cost the 2018 Agronomic Field Day.  It will be held on Thursday, June 21 starting at 9:00 am to 11:30 am.  The location is 4240 Range Line Road, Custar, Ohio, 43511.

    Ohio State University Extension will sponsor the 2018 Small Grains Field Day on June 12th at the OARDC Schaffter Farm, 3240 Oil City Road, Wooster.  Registration begins at 9:30am.  A $25 per person registration fee includes lunch and materials.  After June 4th the registration fee is $35 per person.  Walk-in registrations will be accepted.

    Field day participants have the opportunity to choose from two of four morning sessions:

Beginning June 5, registration will be $35 per person. Lunch is included in the registration fee.

  9. OSU Agronomic Crops Team at Farm Science Review

    The Farm Science Review will be held again this year at the London, Ohio location. Dates are September 19, 20 and 21. Tickets can be purchased at your local Extension office, at many retailers or on-line at the FSR website: https://fsr.osu.edu. New this year is a great app to help you find and locate what you are looking for – look for “Farm Science Review” on the Google Play store or on the Apple App store.

  10. Field Day Event

    FSR Agronomy College – September 12

    Agronomists, Certified Crop Advisers (CCA) and custom applicators can stay current on agronomy issues during the Farm Science Review Agronomy College, hosted by the Ohio AgriBusiness Association in partnership with Ohio State University Extension on Sept. 12.
